Dr. Myla received his medical degree from Guntur Medical College at Nagarjuna University in India and went on to do his residency training at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Following his residency training at several renowned New York hospitals, Dr. Myla completed a cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship at the State University of New York, Down State Coney Island Hospital, and Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in interventional cardiology, critical care medicine, cardiology and internal medicine. Throughout his career, he has been named a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), a fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention (FSCAI), a member of the International Society of Endovascular Specialists (ISES) and president of the non-profit Foundation for Endovascular Education and Research (FEVER).
