Dr. Mayeda joined Los Angeles Cardiology in 1996. His subspecialty expertise includes complex coronary interventions, endograft (minimally invasive) repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms, limb salvage for patients with severe lower extremity peripheral vascular disease, and management of patients in the transfusion free (bloodless) medicine program. After receiving his medical degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, Dr. Mayeda completed his postgraduate training at St. Mary Medical Center. His cardiology fellowship was completed at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and interventional cardiovascular fellowship completed at Good Samaritan Hospital. He is board-certified in interventional cardiology, general cardiology and internal medicine. Dr. Mayeda is Co-director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Training Program at Harbor-UCLA/Good Samaritan Hospital and Medical Co-Director of the Transfusion Free Medicine and Surgery Center at Good Samaritan Hospital. He is also the current Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital.
